___ Ben met Christ late in high school and met The Navigators his first day on campus at Illinois State University, where he graduated with a degree in History Education.  He met his wife Melissa at a Navigator Summer Training Program, and they have been married for 13 years.  Their son Sam is 4 ½ and their daughter Vivian is 2.

After college graduation, Ben and Melissa moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1999 to work with The Navigators there.  They spent seven years at Colorado State before moving to Gainesville, Florida to reopen the Navigator work at the University of Florida in 2006.

Ben’s passions include developing laborers for God’s harvest, teaching the Word of God, Summer Training Programs, and discipling younger men to become leaders.  When he is not on campus, he enjoys playing golf, wrestling with his kids, and eating anything that is “Chicago Style.”
