_Investigating the Bible with your Friends
Leading Great Investigative Bible Discussions
_When people in the Bible
encountered Jesus, they often turned around and told their friends,
“Come and see!” We who’ve encountered Jesus should have the same
response to our friends who haven’t yet personally met Jesus.
Investigative Bible Discussions (IBDs) are one tool for inviting our
friends to “come and see” Jesus for themselves. This workshop will
address why IBDs are such powerful tools in relationally sharing Christ
with our pre-believing friends, and give specific how-to’s of starting
and leading an IBD. You’ll leave this workshop with a clear,
implementable plan for leading your own IBD.
Presented by: Mr. Call
Mr. Call first meeting the Navigators in his mother's womb, Mr. Call grew up in rural Kansas as a hick, jock, nerd, outdoors man, and mama's boy. However, beginning in early high school his main identity became "Christ's." While involved with the Navigators at KSU, Jesus convinced him "to live is Christ and to die is gain." Since graduating from KSU six years ago, Mr. Call served two years in Southeast Asia as a cross-cultural laborer, a year and half leading the KSU Navs, and now lives in Ames, Iowa where he serves with the ISU Navs and is a full-time masters student in International Development Studies.
